Abstract: Reinhard (63), Mario (36) e Laurin (18) cercano la felicità dentro e fuori le piste da ballo di Berlino. Passano le notti a ballare senza sosta nei club e nelle discoteche di Berlino. La pista da ballo è il luogo dove sbocciano e diventano improvvisamente coraggiosi e seducenti, sperando di trovare la loro anima gemella o semplicemente di trasportarsi in un altro mondo più bello e spensierato del loro. Queste tre persone si trovano su un terreno più instabile quando si tratta della loro vita quotidiana, dove affrontano problemi schiaccianti. Per quanto ci provino, nessuno di loro sembra essere in grado di cambiare le cose. Reinhard è un pensionato che lotta per conquistare il cuore del suo vero amore. Mario ha perso il suo lavoro e sta cercando di trovarne uno nuovo - soprattutto perché non vuole abbandonare le figlie. Laurin trasuda bellezza e fiducia in se stessa quando balla, ma non sembra riuscire a farsi degli amici a scuola.
Reinhard (63), Mario (36) and Laurin (18) are searching for happiness on and off Berlin's'dancefloors. They spend their nights dancing their hearts out in Berlin's clubs and discos. The dance floor is the place where they blossom and suddenly become courageous and seductive, hoping to find their soul-mate or to simply transport themselves to another world that is more beautiful and carefree than their own. These three are standing on rather more shaky ground when it comes to their daily lives, where they face overwhelming problems. Try as they might, none of them seem to be able to change things, either. Reinhard is a pensioner struggling to win his true love's heart. Mario has lost his job and is trying to find a new one - primarily because he doesn't want to disappoint his two daughters. Laurin exudes beauty and self-confidence when she's dancing but can't seem to make any friends at school.
