Abstract: Un documentario di 'fantascienza contemplativo' su Mush, un progetto abitativo che ha sede alla periferia della città armena di Gyumri (già Alexandropol e Leninakan). Mush prende il nome dalla città armena nell'Anatolia orientale, un tempo assai fiorente che, nel 1915, durante il periodo del genocidio armeno, divenne luogo di massacri e di deportazioni. La costruzione della "nuova" Mush ebbe inizio pochi mesi dopo il grande terremoto di Spitak, avvenuto nel 1988, che distrusse molti dei blocchi abitativi di Gyumri e lasciò migliaia di persone senza casa. La promessa di Gorbaciov di completare in due anni la costruzione del nuovo sovietico sobborgo alla fine, venne smentita dal crollò dell'Unione Sovietica. Il nuovo stato armeno indipendente non aveva i fondi per completare questo ambizioso progetto abitativo e da allora è rimasto in uno stato spettrale di incompiutezza e semi abbandono.
A 'contemplative science fiction' documentary about Mush, a housing project based on the outskirts of the Armenian city of Gyumri (formerly Alexandropol and Leninakan). Mush takes its name from the once flourishing Armenian city in eastern Anatolia, which in 1915, during the period of the Armenian genocide, became the site of massacres and deportations. Construction of the 'new' Mush began a few months after the great Spitak earthquake of 1988, which destroyed many of Gyumri's housing blocks and left thousands homeless. Gorbachev's promise to complete construction of the new Soviet suburb in two years was eventually belied by the collapse of the Soviet Union. The newly independent Armenian state did not have the funds to complete this ambitious housing project and it has remained in a ghostly state of unfinishedness and semi-abandonment ever since,
