Abstract: "The Messiah Will Always Come", dice Hagit Ofran mentre osserva il crescente numero di roulotte accampate negli insediamenti ebraici nei territori occupati, la costruzione di strade illegali e la confisca di terre di proprietà dei palestinesi locali. Da tre anni, Hagit Ofran è stata incaricata di seguire gli insediamenti per conto del Movimento Israeliano per la Pace. Gira per la Giudea e la Samaria in jeep, da sola, monitorando lo sviluppo degli insediamenti e fotografando ogni dettaglio. Il viaggio senza fine di Hagit la porta faccia a faccia con i coloni e i loro atti religioso-ideologici. Ma la mette anche in contatto con il suo profondo legame con l'ebraismo e con la terra d'Israele.
"The Messiah will always come", says Hagit Ofran as she observes the growing number of caravans camped in Jewish settlements in the occupied territories, the construction of illegal roads and the confiscation of land owned by local Palestinians. For the past three years, Hagit Ofran has been monitoring the settlements on behalf of the Israeli Peace Movement. She travels around Judea and Samaria in a jeep, alone, monitoring the development of the settlements and photographing every detail. Hagit's never-ending journey brings her face to face with the settlers and their religious-ideological acts. But it also brings her into contact with her deep connection to Judaism and the land of Israel.
