Abstract: Questo film nasce dall'intenzione di voler "assaporare" la città di Palermo attraverso gli attori naturali che la vivono ogni giorno. Il punto di partenza è stato il voler recuperare il cinema delle origini, in cui un uomo con una macchina da presa esce per strada e documenta la realtà, catturandone i dettagli. Le immagini prendono vita in un montaggio che riconosce in Palermo una delle capitali del Mediterraneo, unica e molteplice, teatro delle mille contraddizioni che ne fanno una città che oscilla tra resistenza e modernità. Seguendo da lontano la scia di Chris Marker, si mescolano tre sguardi con background decisamente differenti: i tre registi di questa opera.
This film stems from the intention of wanting to 'taste' the city of Palermo through the natural actors who live it every day. The starting point was the desire to recover the cinema of its origins, in which a man with a camera goes out into the streets and documents reality, capturing its details. The images come to life in a montage that recognises Palermo as one of the capitals of the Mediterranean, unique and multiple, a theatre of the thousand contradictions that make it a city that oscillates between resistance and modernity. Following in the footsteps of Chris Marker from afar, three gazes with decidedly different backgrounds mingle: the three directors of this work.
