Abstract: Kouhu, piccola città lungo la costa occidentale di Taiwan, è un luogo dove la terra scompare e riappare nel corso della storia. Più di 100 anni fa Kouhu era un'area di zone umide e lagune. Kouhu, a small town along Taiwan's west coast, is a place where land disappears and reappears throughout history. More than 100 years ago, Kouhu was an area of wetlands and lagoons. Gradually, the lagoons disappeared and fertile land emerged. 20 years ago, however, nature repeated its cycle. The wetlands reappeared, turning the inhabitants of Kouhu into a form of climate refugee. While nature has given the land a chance to breathe and recover, the people who have been forced to leave the land carry the memory of their impoverished homeland forever. The film explores the ecology of the wetlands and lagoons of Kouhu Township and the lives of its inhabitants.
