Abstract: Gli organizzatori della gara hanno risposto positivamente alla richiesta di Nigatus: è stato invitato alla maratona di Francoforte. Un grande sogno sta diventando realtà. È l'opportunità di partecipare a una delle più grandi maratone europee. Potrebbe essere l'inizio di una grande carriera e un modo per guadagnarsi da vivere. Dopo un lungo viaggio, un duro allenamento nei mesi passati e molti ostacoli amministrativi, dal visto all'assicurazione, solo pochi atleti molto bravi dall'Etiopia hanno raggiunto Francoforte. Nigatu e i suoi colleghi hanno ora la possibilità di vincere un premio in denaro di 15.000 euro se vincono la gara. Altri 75.000 euro possono essere vinti se corrono un tempo inferiore a 2 ore e 7 minuti. Il documentario segue Nigatu, un maratoneta etiope sulla sua strada da Addis Abeba a una delle più grandi maratone del mondo a Francoforte.
The race organisers responded positively to Nigatus' request: he was invited to the Frankfurt Marathon. A big dream is coming true. It is the opportunity to participate in one of the biggest marathons in Europe. It could be the start of a great career and a way to earn a living. After a long journey, hard training over the past months and many administrative hurdles, from visa to insurance, only a few very good athletes from Ethiopia made it to Frankfurt. Nigatu and his colleagues now have the chance to win a prize money of 15,000 euros if they win the race. A further 75,000 euros can be won if they run a time of less than 2 hours and 7 minutes. The documentary follows Nigatu, an Ethiopian marathon runner on his way from Addis Ababa to one of the world's biggest marathons in Frankfurt.
