Abstract: Girato negli altipiani delle Ande Boliviane, il film narra la storia di Carmen Rosa, cholita e wrestler professionista che lotta per sopravvivere nel mondo, prevalentemente maschile, del wrestling professionale boliviano. Nel 2004 Carmen Rosa č stata al centro di una rivoluzione nel mondo del wrestling. Mai si era vista una donna con indosso la sottoveste e la bombetta tradizionali salire sul ring: il suo č stato un successo immediato ed il pubblico da allora ladora senza riserve. Assieme a tre altre cholitas sono state battezzate le"Mamachas del ring".
Filmed in the highlands of the Bolivian Andes, the film tells the story of Carmen Rosa, a cholita and professional wrestler struggling to survive in the predominantly male world of Bolivian professional wrestling. In 2004, Carmen Rosa was at the centre of a revolution in the world of wrestling. Never before had a woman wearing a traditional petticoat and bowler hat been seen entering the ring: hers was an instant success and the public has adored her unreservedly ever since. Together with three other cholitas they were christened the 'Mamachas of the Ring'.
