Abstract: Peter Tomschiczek è un pittore. Suo figlio è un regista. La sera si incontrano nello studio di Peter per discutere di arte, creatività e processi creativi. Insieme viaggiano in Africa occidentale e su un'isola carsica croata - due abituali luoghi di ispirazione per il pittore. Le percezioni arcaiche del mondo naturale sono la fonte della sua creatività. In questo film, mentre il pittore è alle prese con la natura, il figlio è alle prese con il padre. Possiamo percepire l'energia dei due creativi emanare da questa fusione di pittura e cinema.
Peter Tomschiczek is a painter. His son is a filmmaker. In the evenings they meet in Peter's studio to discuss art, creativity and creative processes. Together they travel to West Africa and to a Croatian karst island - two habitual places of inspiration for the painter. Archaic perceptions of the natural world are the source of his creativity. In this film, while the painter is grappling with nature, the son is grappling with his father. We can feel the energy of the two creatives emanating from this fusion of painting and film.
