Abstract: Stiamo vivendo in un tempo che la maggior parte degli psicologi, mitologi e antropologi ritengono essere il tempo più mitopoietico nella storia dell'umanità. "Mythopoeic Times"è un film sulla creazione di nuove idee e sistemi di credenze. I quattro protagonisti di questo curioso progetto compiono le loro 'missioni' (così le chiamano loro) in onore dell'ambiente, cercando di rinnovare l'incanto del paesaggio naturale attraverso una nuova forma di mitologia tanto rigorosa quanto divertente. Coloro cui è capitato di imbattersi nel loro lavoro ha provato stupore, stimoli alla riflessione interiore. La neo-mitologia creata da Kenny La Roche non punta a fare proseliti o "convertiti" quanto a mettere in discussione i sistemi di credenze vigenti.
We are living in a time that most psychologists, mythologists and anthropologists believe to be the most mythopoeic time in human history. "Mythopoeic Times" is a film about the creation of new ideas and belief systems. The four protagonists of this curious project carry out their 'missions' (as they call them) in honor of the environment, seeking to renew the enchantment of the natural landscape through a new form of mythology that is as rigorous as it is entertaining. Those who happened to come across their work experienced awe, stimuli for inner reflection. The neo-mythology created by Kenny La Roche does not seek to proselytize or " convert" as much as it seeks to challenge existing belief systems.
